copy and paste
PuTTY’s copy and paste works entirely with the mouse. Text gets copied to the windows clipboard.
Do NOT use ctrl+C or ctrl+V etc the terminal window as that will simply type the ctrl character.
In order to copy text to the clipboard, you just click the left mouse button in the terminal window, and drag to select text. When you let go of the button, the text is automatically copied to the clipboard.
Simply right click in the terminal window to paste any clipboard text.
